A Local Electrician Who Explains Before Fixing
We started this company to be the electrician people call when something goes wrong and they aren't sure what to do next. A spring hailstorm, a summer surge or a hard winter freeze can leave you with a half-working house and a lot of questions. Our job is to answer them clearly and get your home back to safe, normal power.
We work on our own schedule of booked visits, so when we're at your home we aren't rushing to the next one. You get time to ask questions, see the damage for yourself and understand your options. Plenty of our work is routine, too: new lighting, EV chargers, panel upgrades and remodel wiring, done carefully and to code.

Electrical Work for Your Home, Inside and Out
Most calls start with something that stopped working: a dead outlet, a breaker that won't stay on, a meter base bent by a falling limb. We handle electrical repair and code corrections, and we take on bigger projects like panel upgrades, whole-home rewiring and remodel and addition wiring. For the next outage, we install generators, service the ones you already have and set up home battery backup systems. We also do lighting installation, EV charger installation, surge protection and torque and cleans that catch loose connections before they cause trouble.

Panel Upgrades
Replace a worn, rusted or overloaded breaker panel with a properly sized one, permitted, inspected and labeled circuit by circuit.
Electrical Repair
Breakers that trip, outlets that quit, lights that flicker after a storm: we trace the fault, explain it plainly and repair it safely.
Lighting Installation
Recessed lights, new fixtures, dimmers and outdoor lighting installed on sound wiring, with storm-damaged fixtures replaced and weather-rated parts outside.
EV Charger Installation
We check your panel, run a dedicated 240-volt circuit to where you park, and install a Level 2 charger or outlet with the permit and inspection handled.
Whole-Home Rewiring
We replace old, ungrounded or storm-hit wiring room by room, with the permit, inspections and a written plan settled before any work begins.
Generator Installation
Standby and portable generator hookups with transfer switches, load sizing, permits and inspection, so your home keeps its essentials running when the grid goes down.
Generator Service & Repair
Maintenance, load testing and repair for standby and portable generators, so your backup power is ready before the next outage.
Home Battery Backup
Quiet stored power that picks up your fridge, lights and other essentials when a storm knocks out the grid, sized and wired to fit your panel.
Remodel & Addition Wiring
New circuits, lighting and code-required protection for kitchens, baths, conversions and additions, permitted and wired before the drywall goes up.
Code Corrections
We work through failed inspections and home inspector write-ups item by item, fix what is truly out of code, and leave you with clear notes for the re-check.
Surge Protection
We mount a surge protector at your panel, check your grounding, and show you how to tell it is still working after a storm.
Torque & Cleans
We shut down your panel, tighten every connection to the manufacturer's torque values, clean out debris and show you what we found.
What Moves the Price of Electrical Work
Every job is different, so we price after we see it. A hail-cracked outdoor outlet and a meter base torn off the wall are very different repairs. These are the things that make the biggest difference.
We give you a written, line-item estimate after we inspect the problem. Nothing beyond the visit moves forward until you approve it.
- How far the problem reaches
- A surge can stop at one device or travel through several circuits. We test the affected circuits so the estimate covers what actually failed, not a guess.
- Access to the wiring
- Many homes sit on slabs, so wiring often runs through the attic. Tight attic space, summer heat and finished ceilings all add time compared with open, easy access.
- Parts and equipment
- A standard breaker costs far less than a new panel, meter base or generator transfer switch. When several options would work, we lay out each one.
- Condition of what's already there
- Older or undersized panels, brittle insulation and past work that wasn't done to code can turn a simple repair into a larger one. We show you what we see so the reason is clear.
- Permits, inspections and the utility
- Panel work, service repairs and new circuits often need a permit and inspection. Some jobs also need the utility to disconnect or reconnect power, which affects scheduling.
How a Service Visit Runs
From the first call to final cleanup, you know what is happening and what comes next.
- 1
You call and tell us what happened
Describe what you are seeing and when it started. We book a service visit and tell you what to leave off until we arrive.
- 2
We inspect and document
We check the panel, the affected circuits and any outdoor equipment like the meter base, disconnects and outlets. We take photos and explain what failed and why.
- 3
You get options and a written estimate
We give you a repair-or-replace answer with the costs listed line by line. You decide what to do, with no pressure to decide on the spot.
- 4
We do the work and handle permits
We pull any permit the job needs, coordinate with the utility when power has to be cut or restored and schedule the inspection.
- 5
We test, clean up and walk you through it
Every repaired circuit is tested before we leave. We show you what changed and leave the space clean.

How We Work When Something Goes Wrong
After a storm or a surge, you want someone calm who tells you the truth and doesn't push a bigger job than you need. That is how we run every visit.
Safety first, then the rest
We start by checking what is dangerous right now, like water near the panel, a pulled service mast or a scorched outlet. Once your home is safe, we slow down and look at everything else.
Photos and plain notes
We photograph broken or burned parts and write down what we found. You get a clear record to keep, and something you can share with your insurer if you file a claim.
Repair when it will hold
If a part can be fixed safely, we say so. We only recommend replacement when wear or age means a repair won't last, and we explain why.
A written estimate before work starts
You see the scope and the line items before anything beyond the inspection begins. Sometimes opening a wall or a panel cover turns up a problem nobody could see before. When that happens, we pause, show you what it is and let you decide how to proceed.
Your property treated with care
We wear shoe covers indoors, keep work areas tidy and haul away old parts and packaging when we finish.
Questions Homeowners Ask Us
A storm pulled down wires near my house. Who do I contact first?
If lines are down or sparking, stay away and contact your utility first. In most cases the utility owns the lines up to your home, while the service mast, weatherhead and meter base belong to you. Once the area is safe, we can repair your side so the utility can reconnect power.
Do you pull permits?
Yes. When a job needs a permit, we pull it and schedule the inspection with your local jurisdiction. Panel work, service repairs and new circuits commonly require one. The permit cost is shown on your estimate so it isn't a surprise.
Why do my breakers keep tripping?
A breaker trips to protect the wire behind it, so the trip is a symptom, not the problem. Often a circuit is being asked to run more appliances than it was sized for, insulation somewhere has been damaged and is letting current stray, or the breaker itself has worn and trips too easily. Storms bring their own suspects, like rainwater inside an outdoor receptacle or an appliance that took a surge. We trace the circuit to the real cause rather than simply putting in a new breaker.
How long does a panel change take?
Most panel replacements take a full day of work, with your power off for part of it. The bigger timing factor is often the permit, the inspection and any utility disconnect and reconnect. We share the expected dates before the job is booked, so the power-off day never catches you off guard.
Is my garage a good spot for an EV charger?
For most homes it works well. We look at how much spare capacity your panel has, how far the wire run is from the panel to your parking spot and which charger you've picked. If the panel is already full, we'll walk you through the choices, and a panel upgrade may be one of them.
Will you help with my insurance claim?
We don't act as your adjuster, but we give you photos, written notes on what we found and a line-item estimate. Those records help your insurer understand the damage. We're glad to answer questions from your adjuster about the electrical side.
Is it safe to plug my house into a portable generator?
Not through a regular outlet. Backfeeding a home without a transfer switch or interlock can energize utility lines and harm line workers or ruin your equipment. We install transfer switches and interlocks so a generator can power your home safely.
What should I do while I wait for my service visit?
Leave off any breaker that keeps tripping, and unplug electronics on circuits that are acting strangely. Stay away from wet outlets, scorched covers or a panel with water near it. If you smell burning or see smoke, leave the house and contact the fire department before anything else.
